WHY ARE RENEWABLES VITAL

Due to the increase in energy demand and the reduction in domestic petroleum

reserves over the past three decades, our country has become increasingly

dependent on foreign sources of petroleum reserves. Renewable energy provides

an opportunity to improve our national energy position by (1) utilizing a much

wasted energy source, (2) conserving non-renewable sources, such as petroleum

and natural gas, and (3) reducing our dependence on foreign sources of

non-renewable energy. Development of renewable energy projects displays the

desire of both Renovar and its partners to be good stewards of the world in which

we all live.
